Usually we’ll create 1.3. What?!

Yes, that’s right.

Research shows that team output is most often LESS than the sum of the parts. 75% of cross functional teams have significant dysfunction.

Is this gap one of the biggest opportunities we have as a species to evolve? Is that hyperbole?

Not for me. Seriously.

I’ve been very, very fortunate to have had the door to high performance, multi-cultural teamwork opened to me back in 2008.

Diversity in this graduate program started out as a dramatic liability. Blood was actually drawn.

But then Dr. Rob Bogosian and other professors taught us the basics of how to turn diversity liability into awe inspiring power.

The ideas, projects, relationships, and meaning we co-created in those teams still fires my goose bumps. Again, right now…16 years later.

If you haven’t been trained how to be part of a highly effective team, that creates massive impact, you are in the majority.

Very few schools, universities or organizations teach high performance teamwork. I really haven’t figure out why! All the research is out there. We all know that teamwork is often a tolerated part of our lived experience.

So after 16 years, my team and I are finally ready to share the CopperTeams team training and software system with you.
